Erwten Soup

Erwten soup - or pea soup - is the traditional Dutch dish.
Terbuat dari split green peas (apa ya bahasa indo ya?), bacon, potongan daging ham, dan beberapa sayuran. Berbeda dengan sop2 lain yang ber-air, Erwten Soup itu sangat kental nyaris tidak ber-air. Soup yang lembut dan lezat.
Kadang2 disajikan dengan fatty speck, dan yang paling asyik adalah waktu ‘mancing’ potongan-potongan daging rookworst, sosis asap....hmm enak...banget

Andai gue masih di Belanda, pasti saat ini gue udah pergi ke Ahold, cari Erwten Soup kalengan.
Untuk dipanaskan dan dinikmati sendiri di kamar kost gue sambil lihat bebek-bebek berenang-renang di danau buatan sebelah Matenweg 111.
Rasa sop-nya yang kental dan lembut bisa memberi kehangatan batin, bisa menenangkan hati, bisa menjadi pelipur rasa kesendirian, sambil ‘memancing’ kembali potongan-potongan hati yang tertoreh...

Dear Fans,

Hari Sabtu lalu, (tepatnya gue lupa kapan) gue ikutan halal bihalal MP's Jakarta di Monas. Awalnya cuma nganterin si Merlyn, eeh...tau2 ik langsung dibikin ID juga. (duh...kayak ikutan audisi aja whoahaha). So, kalo ada yang mo lihat2 my multiply, check this: http://isidjabat.multiply.com/

Norak!

Perhatiin ngga kalo akhir-akhir ini, ada kecenderungan untuk bicara dalam 2 bahasa?
Indolish? Itu lho bahasa indonesia yang dicampur-campur pake bahasa inggris.
Norak banget!
Sungguh trend yang aneh. Dianggap keren kalo bisa bahasa Indolish.
Apalagi kemarin tuh ada presenter yang model (uuh ngga tau juga gue namanya? caroline siapa gitu?) pokoknya di OChannel, mewawancara seseorang dengan bahasa gado2 gitu.
Ampun...Kampungan banget!
Yang diwawancara juga ikut2an lagi pake bahasa Indolish (faktor latah kayaknya...)
Bukannya bikin penonton terkesan malah bikin mual.

Mestinya kalo emang mo pake bahasa Inggris, ya monggo silahkan bicara dari awal kalimat sampe akhir pake bahasa Inggris. (mudah2an sih bisa ya...kalo ngga ya jangan! selain norak juga malu2in. Ketahuan bahasa/ inggrisnya masih setengah2 tuh)
Kalo mo pake bahasa Indonesia, ya usahakan bicara dari awal sampe akhir pake bahasa Indonesia. Memang ngga gampang pake bahasa Indonesia, apalagi kalo bahasa2 resmi seperti untuk penulisan thesis2 atau makalah2 ilmiah.

Stop pake Indolish. Norak!
Yuk, kita pake satu bahasa saja bila bertutur kata.
Hitung2 sekalian belajar jadi orang yang konsisten. Ngga mencla-mencle.

2 . There is limits for the object of sorrow.

There are time limits for every grieve.
Don’t be overtaken by grieve.
Learn to grieve in parts!

5But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.

You might be broken but not all together crushed.
Remember that Jesus already payed our grieve at the cross by experiencing the greatest rejection ever.
Isaiah 53:4
4Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].

Dalam rangka hari bakti Postel ke 62, beberapa petinggi Postel mendadak jadi pemain ketoprak humor. They want to promote Indonesian culture by being ketoprak player. Eh player atau seller ya? Hihihi :)
Walaupun tidak serius, meaning that: they didn’t even remember the text. They were still looks very happy, even too happy to play sampe2 they just stand still there and do nothing at all.
Para penonton, (bawahannya, ajudannya, atau vendornya) juga gitu. Happy bener. Entah happy karena ngerti jalan ceritanya, atau happy karena melihat boss2nya pada dieeem dan kaku aja di panggung (gantian boo), atau happy karena disuruh?
Mungkin karena namanya Ketoprak Humor ya. Jadi ya its suppose to make you happy and laugh.
Anyway,
Aren’t we happy trying to be someone else?
Aren’t we continuously hiding from ourselves?
Aren’t we pretends to be always happy? …aku baik2 saja…
Well, life isn’t always about being happy.
It’s about being alive :)
